The operetta is based on George Bernard Shaw&#8217;s play &#8220;Arms And The Man&#8221;, although Shaw insisted that none of his dialogue or the names of his characters could be used &#8211; Petkoff was renamed Colonel Popoff in the operetta. Now that Shaw&#8217;s works are out of copyright, this will be the first production to use Shaw&#8217;s dialogue and character names. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be new English lyrics by the director Jeff Clarke. The conductor is James Ham and the cast includes Eleanor Sanderson-Nash, Felicity Buckland, Kristin Finnigan, Guy Elliott, Robin Bailey and Felix Kemp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The show runs from Tuesday 23 to Saturday 27 June with two shows on the Saturday.
